During my recent visit to Nile Ethiopian Restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. Getu, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Ethiopia.
Very good service and love the pictures of Ethiopia and proud Ethiopians (e.g. the King of Ethiopia and H. Gebrselassie) on the walls. Great experience for a Sunday evening tète-à-tète. We had the place to ourselves at around 5 pm and really enjoyed ourselves.
Delicious food. Friendly people, both staff and locals.. Good prices. I was very welcomed, though a different ethnicity. Nice collection of Ethiopian artifacts. I can see why Ethiopian food is the rage! Live far away but want to return! Wow!
The Ethiopian manager was friendly and helpful, explained the menu and took our order. Two or three other Ethiopian women serving the food were also very friendly. The food was good and authentic and the price was right.
